birthday

i did end up having a perfectly good birthday. one of my good friends PJ got me an awesome gift and he gave it to me in the sweetest way ever, by making a little treasure hunt and putting it in a book in my room over a week in advance!

anyway, i had dinner in the evening with aditya, a good friend. Went to grab a drink with some friends at Manuel's Tavern and then to Blake's. Coincidentally ran into a friend there. Got hugged by the bartender and bouncer for it being my bday. Also got a free round of shots for that!

in the middle of the day i went to Eatzi's and picked up the most decadent chocolate cake i could find. it was yummy. And lastly my co-worker Philip was very sweet and got me two cd's of bebels remixes!

so all in all a smashing day, no complaints. My sister called me up at 3:45 am to wish me tho...and i bet i said something mean to her for waking me up ;)

i go to see the Constant Gardener tonight, so excited. I'll have a mini review soon.

this weekend is Labor day, meaning lotsa drinking and Sake Bombs at Ru-San :)
